Fifth Annual Pack the Bus a Success 9/6/2007 Barboursville, WV- Area children may not be ready to start back to school this week, but with the help of Short Chiropractic, they will be well supplied. Short Chiropractic collected over 30 filled back packs, as well as pens, pencils, crayons, notebooks, folders and various other items during the 5th annual event which wrapped up on August 23. The school supplies will be donated to ECCHO, an organization based in Milton that provides school supplies to underprivileged children in Cabell County. Patients also generously donated over $400 to ECCHO. “I’m very pleased with the turn out for this event. Every year, I’m overwhelmed by the generosity of people in this area. This year’s event has been one of the best,” Dr. Short said. Media Makers Design Studio assisted Short Chiropractic with planning the Pack the Bus event. The company designed marketing materials, including direct mail and postcards, and promoted the event through the local media, including WEMM Radio. Short Chiropractic will be offering free educational seminars beginning Tuesday, September 11 from 6 PM to 7 PM and continuing every Tuesday through October. Beginning in November, Short Chiropractic will give back to the community yet again with its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive.
