Vet Center Grand Opening a Howling Success

Huntington, W.Va..- Fur, feathers, and fun filled the new Tri-State Veterinary Center’s new facility last weekend at the Grand Opening of their new location on Merritt’s Creek Road.

Almost 200 pets and their people attended the festivities, which took place on December 8, 2007.

“My Chihuahua, Maggie, and I had so much fun. The facility is amazing, and it’s obvious how much the vets care for their patients. Their passion for animals really shines through,” Amy Mueller, Client Services Manager for Media Makers Design Studio, said.

Events included photos with Santa, drawings for $100 gift certificates to the Center, and a live remote by WDGG. The Center gave away stockings filled with dog or cat treats and coupons for $5 a vet visit, as well as gift certificates for a free spay or neuter.

The facility also hosted a day-long shot clinic, providing much needed vaccinations for cats and dogs for a fraction of the regular price.

The Cabell County Sheriff Department’s K9 unit was also on hand for demonstrations.

The Tri-State Veterinary Center, formerly Tri-State Animal Clinic, is a 12,000 square foot veterinary medical facility offering state-of-the-art equipment including dental, digital x-rays, endoscope for large and small animals, ultrasound and laser surgery. The Center’s regular operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Media Makers Design Studio helped plan and promote the event and built a website for the Center.

“As an agency filled with animal lovers, we all enjoyed working on this project,” Amanda Austin, Marketing Coordinator, said.
